This is a Tagore Literature Award winning poetry collection comprising of three sections, each with a distinct style of poetry: progressive, satirical and philosophical. This unique collection carries the message of hope to mankind. 


Aranya Fasal by Manoranjan Das
Translated as The Wild Harvest by by Prabhat Nalini Das

Friends Publishers (2013)

Das, a pioneer of modernism, was known for his experimentalism and deep socio-political awareness. This work won him the Sahitya Akademi Award.


Baji Rout by Sachidananda Rautray

Grantha Mandir

This is an ode to its titular character, a boatman boy who was martyred when he refused to take the British Police in his rickety boat to cross the river Brahmani. It established Rautray in the the state's literary sphere.
